We are looking for:
A smart, highly motivated, and passionate software developer with a good understanding of software architecture and design issues as well as solid knowledge of C++ programming to be part of our international team of engineers that manage Software Engineering Solutions with a strong impact on the world for railway transportation.
What you will do:
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code;
Implement performance and quality modules (we value quality over quantity);
Based on your experience, you will identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems;
Help to maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
What you must have:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar degree;
Strong proficiency in C++, with a fair knowledge of the language specifications;
Extensive experience with various programming languages/scripting languages;
Very good know-how on routing, TCP/IP, sockets;
Strong Linux skills (scripting, configuring);
Good understanding of software architecture and design issues;
Advanced level of written and spoken English.
Would be a plus:
Exposure to Java SE / Eclipse RCP (or willing to learn it);
Exposure to Perl / Python;
Databases (SQL) knowledge;
Experience in process-oriented development (V-Model, Agile methods).
